Virgin Hitz Thailand thinks you can dance

Bangkok’s Virgin Hitz has launched the Hitz Cover Dance promotion to give up-and-coming dance troupes a chance to train with some of the region’s best choreographers.

The station is teaming up with music label Mono Music which is known for signing J-Pop and K-Pop artists.

Listeners will be offered a cash prize of 100,000 baht (US$3,200) and advance training from Thai and Korean choreographers.

The winners will even get to perform with some of their favourite Korean and Japanese artists on stage.

Groups of between three and 12 people can send in video clips of up to seven minutes.

All the entries will be put to the listeners’ vote.
