Duggy Day – China

Duggy Day has let us know of his latest movements and how he likes our new site. He writes:

Greetings to you from Beijing. Its nice to get your regular email updates, and your new website looks good too!

Back in February, my very enjoyable 8 year English producer/presenter contract ended with China Radio International. While I was with CRI I hosted the popular daily entertainment programme called ‘The Hot Pot Show’ which featured lots of great pop music from China and beyond plus great features too!

My programme was broadcast on AM & FM in China and on smartphones everywhere. The show was also aired daily in many countries including The UK, Australia, The US, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Nepal, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Liberia, Pakistan, Uganda, Tanzania, Samoa and Vanuatu etc. I really enjoyed hosting and producing the show, and after leaving the network I was pleased to see that the station continued to broadcast ‘the best of’ The Hot Pot Show till the middle of April this year.

At present I’m taking a little break from the radio scene, but its my firm intention that I will ‘Spin That Wheel’ again in the not too distant future. All the best, Duggy Day
