As we reported back in August last year, SCA's chairman Max Moore-Wilton flagged his intention to retire this year. Now The Australian reports that the succession process is well under way and that Moore-Wilton could step down as early as 25th February, so coincide with the company's half year results meeting.

Max Davies has been appointed as the new Managing Director of RCS New Zealand, the development base for all RCS traffic products. He is a 25 year veteran of the UK advertising and media industries, and previously worked at GES and JICRIT.

Ron Bell, manager of Grafton's 2GF, and a former announcer for many years, has announced his immediate resignation  last Thursday saying, "This is a simple ‘general’ email to a few folk to inform that I have ended my term at 2GF/FM 104.7."

Pete Curulli is returning to radio on mix94.5 Perth to co-present drive alongside Lisa Shaw. He's replacing Tim Lordan who will return to mornings. He perviously did afternoons on B105 Brisbane. Ross Edwards who previously hosted mornings will take over afternoons.

Blake Pattenden finishes up as 106.3 Townsville breakfast announcer on December 19. After building a highly successful brand "CK & Blake" for 6 years on the Grant Broadcasters owned CHR he follows his dreams travelling overseas to Europe. CK continues on as breakfast Anchor and an announcement on Blake's replacement is coming soon.

After 10 year of presenting on Triple J, Lindsay McDougall, a.k.a The Doctor has hung up his headphones. McDougall announced his departure by playing a song titled “I’m F***ing Off” that assured listeners that he was leaving to pursue music and his marriage, not because of the recent cuts to the ABC.
