2UE’s Sydney Agency Sales Manager Stacey Skaro, has resigned from the Fairfax Radio Network.  She is leaving the business to take some well deserved time out to map out the next phase of her career whether that be in Sydney or interstate.  Stacey started with 2UE and the Fairfax Radio Network just over 12 months ago and has had a significant impact on the business in that time.  Her last day will be Friday December 5th.  A search for a replacement is underway

After 15 years with 2UE’s Sports Today with co-host John ‘Gibbsy’ GibbsGreg ‘Brandy’ Alexander will finish as a full time presenter on December 12 to focus more on his television commitments. However, he will continue as a regular guest into the future.

Veteran broadcaster and producer Peter Barr will step away from the microphone this December after ten years in the Breakfast seat at Perth’s RTRFM. He’s a 3 time Golden WAMi Award, with several WAM nominations for one win.

Kevin Trask began presenting nostalgic segments with Tony Murphy on 4BC on the 10th of November 2004 and then worked with Ian Maurice for five years before Walter Williams took over hosting the night-time programme in 2010. Nights with Walter Williams networks to 4CA Cairns, 4RO Rockhampton, 4MK McKay and Kevin can be heard every Monday night at 10.30pm. He also has worked with Bruce Mansfield and Philip Brady on 3AW on Remember When Sunday nights at 8.20pm for the past fourteen years. Kevin is currently planning the 2015 Australian tour for his famous cousin Diana Trask.

After four years as News Director at Radio 4BC, Award Winning journalist Scott Mayman is leaving Fairfax Media. Scott has led the career development of more than 19 university students who’ve since gained placement in full-time employment. He is still working with American network CBS as their Australian correspondent and in 2015.

ABC Rural has announced that Caroline Winter will present SA Country Hour, Australia’s longest running radio program. Born in Glasgow and raised in Perth Caroline’s career has come full circle, starting out as a program presenter with ABC Local Radio in regional WA 12 years ago.

In a move that pits him against 2UE's highest rating weekend show, George and Paul,  Ray Hadley has announced that he will now be airing on Saturdays on top of his regular schedule - at least until the football season starts. The show is also likely to compete with 2UE's cricket coverage at least for the latter part of the show as it approaches midday.

Sebba Claassen leaves Spirit Radio

Sebba Claassen from Spirit Radio, who sent radioinfo a couple of articles during their Cyclone Broadcasts and North West Festivals last year, has just finished up with Redwave and is back in Melbourne having resigned from Spirit 102.9 Broome Breakfast in October after a year and a half; he also did Afternoons in Port Hedland for a year. He told radioinfo that he loved his time at Redwave, learned an incredible amount and made some amazing friends, but is now searching for a new challenge a little bit closer to home.

Joel Gosper

After a four year stint as a Bank Manager for CBA and running his own small business, Joel Gosper has returned to the radio industry by accepting the role as General Manager of 2NM and Power FM in the NSW Hunter Valley. He told radioinfo that he is excited to be back and has been greeted to a very warm welcome by colleagues and clients. He is looking forward to the challenges ahead.
