Bob Rogers has renewed his contract with 2CH on air in 'verbal' agreement with station owner, John Singleton. The 10 year deal is an ambitious undertaking for 2CH with Rogers turning 88 in December.

In a company reshuffle, Guy Dobson has been appointed Executive Director of Metropolitan Operations, and Rick Lenarcic (pictured) takes the position of Executive Director of Regional Operations. The pair will oversee the provision of content, innovation, client solutions, and lead teams of national specialists plus local general managers from a strategic and operational perspective.

6PR presenter Paul Murray has announced that he will be stepping down as Drive presenter at the end of 2014. Murray said he felt the time is right for him to step back from full-time work.

Clive Dickens is leaving SCA and will move to Seven West Media next year. Dickens will transition out of his role as the Director of Digital and Innovation at SCA at a date in 2015 yet to be determined. He will assume the position of Chief Digital Officer at Seven West Media, reporting to CEO Tim Worner.

Broadcast software company, RCS, has upped Mike Powell to the position of SVP International Operations and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining RCS, Powell hosted top-rated morning shows on several UK music radio stations before transitioning to station management.

After six years presenting ABC Classic FM Breakfast, Emma Ayres has hung up her headphones and will move on to new adventures. In the past 18 months Emma has written a book, Cadence, played with the Bombay Chamber Orchestra and toured Europe with the Australian Youth Orchestra. Prior to that, she travelled to Kabul to work with the Afghan Youth Orchestra.

Peter Lewis has been appointed to the ABC Board as a non-executive director for the next five years. Mr Lewis conducted a recent review into the ABC after leaving Channel 7. He was at Southern Cross Austereo for a short time, before resigning suddenly. His career in the media industry includes executive financial roles at Seven West Media Limited, Sydney Olympic Broadcasting Organisation, the Seven Network Limited and Network Ten.

Deborah Leavitt has been made RN Manager at ABC Radio after acting in the role since March this year. During her time at the ABC she's worked on Mornings with Jon Faine on 774 ABC Melbourne, and worked with independent content producers as manager of the Regional Production Fund, before her appointment as Local Content Manager WA in 2005.

Nova Entertainment's Assistant Group Program Director and Nova 100 Program Director Mike Cass has tendered his resignation to return to the UK. In four years Cass has made many contributions to the company incuding creating Nova 100's Meshel & Tommy breakfast show and leading the implementation of the Zetta playout system throughout the group.

Ali Clarke will join Adelaide's FIVEaa with her own show on Sunday afternoons from 28 September.  “Ali gets to the heart of what is of interest to the people of Adelaide in her newspaper column and we can’t wait to have her on the air each Sunday to be able to discuss what matters to our listeners.” said Operation Manager Craig Munn.

The former SAFM and Triple M breakfast personality is new to talkback. Ali said: “I hope being back on radio is a bit like riding a bike. I’m really looking forward to the challenge and talking with the Adelaide listeners.”  She will be heard on Sunday afternoons until March 2015.

Hot91.1on the Sunshine Coast has revealed details of its highly anticipated new breakfast show. It's host are Sam Coward and Lynda Edmunds, who will be known on air as Sam and Edmo. Lynda’s been part of the Hot91.1 family for the past 7 years as an announcer and news reader. Sam is a local of 33 years and an international actor and director of the stage and screen who’ll be making his big screen debut alongside Tara Reid in Charlie’s Farm in November.
